This year, Terra Drive Systems turns 50.

Mud Hog was founded in Brookston, Indiana, in 1976 with a single idea — that agricultural equipment could be built tougher and smarter. Five decades later, that same engineering mindset is behind every Mud Hog axle, every EZ Trac system, and every drivetrain solution we deliver to OEMs and operators globally.

For more than 15 years, John Janssen has been a true cornerstone of the TDS - Mud Hog team.

From his early connection to the product on his family farm to the many roles he’s held within the company, John brought a level of versatility that’s hard to match. Whether he was supporting customers, representing TDS - Mud Hog at trade shows, or working as a master technician in the lab, he did it all—and did it well.

John was a trusted resource for countless farmers, always ready with the knowledge and support they needed to keep their harvest moving.

A true jack of all trades and a steady presence on the team—John, you will be greatly missed. Thank you for your years of dedication and impact.

For over 30 years, RJ Provo has been the definition of dedication at Mud Hog.

He started on the production floor as a general laborer, material handler, and machine operator—learning the business from the ground up. Through hard work and commitment, RJ grew into a vital role in customer service, where he became a trusted voice for farmers across the country.

From building the products to supporting the people who depend on them, RJ has helped keep countless harvests moving when it mattered most.

Our in-house design team brings together decades of functional and proven expertise while also mixing fresh talent to accelerate the launch of next-generation products. We invest heavily in internships and talent-development programs to fuel the engineering pipeline. From in-house FEA analysis and hydraulic controls expertise to vertical integration that allows us to develop our own software, we’re built to solve complex challenges faster.
