A row of 2-story duplex buildings is a common sight in Brooklyn! These buildings are separated by a 10-foot-wide shared driveway, with the property line running through the center of the driveway. The 5 feet on each side can't be properly utilized as living space for either building owner.
RV Engineers, P.C. has developed a unique way to take advantage of this space, by building a 5-foot extension for the building on a cantilever from the 2nd floor up, while maintaining the shared driveway with a height of 8-10 feet.
