Tool and Die Maker
Precision tool and die maker. Our tool and die makers are a class of machinists in the manufacturing industries. We go by several names including tool maker, toolmaker, die maker, diemaker, mold maker, moldmaker or tool jig and die-maker depending on which area of precision work the individual works.
Our tool makers make jigs, fixtures, dies, molds, machine tools, cutting tools, gauges, and other tools used in the manufacturing process. Each one of our tool makers are skilled craftspeople who have learned the trade through a combination of academic schooling and hands-on training. We have precision tool makers and soon to be precision tool makers we call apprentice.
