Our team brought the creativity—and a little friendly competition—for our department decorating contest.

Add in some costumes that made navigating the office a little more interesting, and we had quite the Halloween crew.

During field trials, our new GM12A worked 16 to 18 hours a day, every day, for five months supporting cutterhead dredge operations. After a complete teardown and inspection, the unit showed normal wear and no anomalies—ready to get back to work.

Our GM Roadshow stopped at Rasmussen’s Seattle location for a day of talking shop, taking a closer look inside the Gearmatic GM Series and connecting with the people who put hoists to work.

From the teardown table to the lunch table, we enjoyed answering questions and showing what makes the GM Series easier to service.

ONE OF OUR OWN, HONORED AMONG HEROES. 🇺🇸

Many of our customers know Dustin Bishop as part of the Arrowhead Winch Inside Sales team. Before joining our team, Dustin served in the United States Navy.

Dustin recently joined fellow veterans on Brookshire Grocery Company's Heroes Flight to Washington, D.C.—a trip created to honor them for their service.

From visiting the nation’s capital and sharing the experience with other veterans to reading letters of thanks and returning home through a crowd of flags, signs and familiar faces, it was a well-earned experience from beginning to end.

We’re proud to work alongside Dustin and grateful for his service. Welcome home, Dustin!

THE RIGHT WINCH STARTS WITH THE RIGHT QUESTIONS

Choosing a trailer winch involves more than matching its rating to the weight of the load. Required line pull, rope capacity and operating demands all play a role in selecting the right configuration.

Three factors to consider:

1. Required line pull: The load, incline, surface conditions and number of rope layers can all affect the pulling force required.

2. Rope capacity: Rope diameter and the distance the load must travel help determine the drum configuration you need.

3. Operating demands: Line speed, duty cycle and frequency of use matter when equipment is expected to keep working throughout the day.
