MORE 1x’s for the homestead!!

These dead standing pine logs seem to have some of the coolest patterns of color inside!!
Greens, grays, etc.
I reckon a handful of bugs in there, too!!
This stuff cuts like lemon meringue pie and all said and done, my clothes aren’t sticking together with pine pitch!! How cool is that?!

They say “free material always costs you” and I would agree, most of the time.
The only cost to me this go-round is the time it takes to process it, which is quite a lot cheaper, all said.
Dead standing pine can be worrisome when it comes to a good piece of wood, but I am quite fortunate this time!!

I’m sure that the video doesn’t do it any justice - This log is an absolute BEAST!!

I’m going to name the ol’ trusty HUD-SON Sawmill “The HOG”!
