repair on a claw off a Komatsu 490 being used to set large shoreline protection rock. Tips were cut open and instead of boxing in with plate, we fit 3” thick plates in the end to create the tips. Also with any repair like this the attachment is inspected for cracks and they are properly gouged and welded.
