Our newest addition, Josh Conkle, is a dedicated professional and true Tennessee local who brings a wealth of experience and a deep love for the land to everything he does. Having grown up in Blountville and Johnson City, Josh’s career journey has been defined by his commitment to people, starting in hospitality before transitioning into Human Resources. Today, he serves as the Safety Manager at Tri-City Extrusion, where he applies his diverse background to ensure a secure and efficient environment for the entire team. His professional discipline is matched only by his passion for his home life, where he finds his greatest joy in "loving his land" and managing a thriving hobby farm.
Life at home for Josh is lively and diverse, as he currently cares for a flock of nearly 50 birds, including ducks, chickens, guineas, and turkeys. An outdoorsman through and through, he is an avid marksman who takes great pride in the care of his fi****ms and has spent years hog hunting. When he isn't tending to his land or his two loyal dogs, Josh is usually staying active with his family. Whether he’s hitting the court for a game of basketball with his kids or jumping into a volleyball match, he thrives on staying involved. From the manufacturing floor to the farm, Josh’s life is a testament to stewardship, hard work, and a genuine connection to his roots.
