We are hiring for full and part-time machinists.

We are seeking a Machinist to perform detail work in a high-quality, non-repetitive environment. You will run lathes, drill presses, grinders, and mills while contributing to the development of automated machinery and stamping dies.
Whether you’re an apprentice or self-taught, what matters most is your ability to read prints, create accurate details, and run equipment with skill. You ask questions when needed, find smarter ways to work, and never compromise on quality.

Job Responsibilities
•Follow prints to produce details from steel and aluminum.
•Identify issues in manufacturing a print.
•Works with lead men to clarify your priorities.
•Discusses the best tools and machines to use with journeyman toolmakers.
•Commit to teamwork and identifying the best ways to complete tasks.
•Maintains a clean work area.
•Some shipping and receiving duties.
•Assists with other shop needs as necessary.
Required Skills & Knowledge
•Able to run lathes, drill presses, grinders, and mills.
•Knowledge of how to produce parts out of various grades of steel and aluminum.
•Diligent work ethic.
•Able to select correct machine tools and machines based on tolerances and detail drawings.
•Strong willingness to learn new manufacturing methods and tools.
•Works well with a motivated, diverse staff.
•Driver’s license and forklift experience
Preferred Skills
•Ability to analyze information and problem solve.
•Can handle projects and information in a confidential manner.
•Welding is a plus.
Qualifications
•Experience working with lathes, drill presses, grinders, and mills.
•Must be eligible to work in the U.S. permanently.
Education and Experience
Required Experience:
•2-8 years of related experience.
•Manufacturing experience in a tool room.
•Experience running machine tool equipment.
Preferred Experience:
•Technician experience.
•Experience assembling automated equipment.
Education:
•High school diploma or equivalent and 2 years relevant experience.
•Associate Degree in Engineering or a technical discipline, or a Bachelors' Degree a plus.

Full-time and part time positions available, M-F, occasional overtime. Pay range $25.50 to $31 and hour.
