Two megawatts, thrown on all at once.
Most load bank tests step the load on in stages, 25 then 50 then 75 then full. This one doesn't. We dumped the entire rated load onto this 2000kW Rehlko in a single hit, dropped it, and slammed it back on. That's what happens when the power fails and the ATS hands the whole building to the generator at once. It's the hardest thing a standby set ever has to do, and this one barely flinched.
