Custom forged steel balustrade and handrail fabricated and installed by Landis Metalworks. All of the forging, hammering, and texture work was done in-house, giving each piece a true handmade finish with subtle variations throughout.

Built specifically for the space to complement the natural wood and rustic details throughout the home.

A recently completed custom railing installation featuring cathedral balusters, forged lamb’s tongue details, and warm bronze accents.
The forged elements bring a traditional, handcrafted character to the railing, while the repeating cathedral pattern gives the stairwell a strong architectural presence. Finished in deep black with subtle bronze highlights, the entire piece was designed to feel refined, timeless, and completely at home in the space.
Designed, fabricated, and installed by Landis Metalworks.

This is one we’ve wanted to revisit for a while.
The structure and railings were completed some time ago, but these finished photos really show how the full stair system came together. Custom-fabricated steel by Landis Metalworks, powder coated in a very light gray, complemented by beautifully executed wood treads from Fran Lane Originals(Builder). Modern, minimal, and built to be lived with.

These are some of the most unique rails you will probably come across. Hand forged and textured in house with a super secret finish that highlights the texture for a very elegant and rugged product. I can't say enough about these beauties!

Simple and elegant, sometimes saying less is the best way to go.

A project for a rad client in the Mountain Brooke neighborhood in Brevard…. Modern, sleek, yet bold. Railing makes a strong statement on the identity of your home. I love working with people to create their vision!

Simple, flowing, elegant…. These may be some of the best fitting, and visual pleasing rails to date. Very pleased with this project.

I love building these serpentine rails! I believe these to be a true blend of art and craft. I’ll let the Photos say the rest.
