SoCal homeowners, skip the marketing fluff. How does Low-E glass actually work? The secret is Selective Spectral Transmittance via a nanometer-thin silver coating. It treats wavelengths totally differently:

☀️ Visible Light (380–780 nm)
→ 40%–80% Transmittance. Keeps your space bright without the cave vibe.
🌡️ Near-Infrared (780–2,500 nm)
→ Partial Reflection. The silver film selectively bounces back solar heat, keeping your house from baking in summer.
🔥 Mid-to-Far Infrared (2.5–1,000 μm)
→ ≥80% Reflectivity. Blocks long-wave heat (radiated by your floors/furniture) from leaking out in winter or bouncing back inside in summer.

The Engineering Flex:
