In honor of Global Recycling Day, we invite you to take a look at an excellent example of a project that helped their facilities increase diversion rates within their community at Escondido Disposal. This project not only enhanced technology but increased the recyclables diversion without an increase to the permitted tons per day of the operation.

In honor of Women’s History Month, Women in Aviation Week and Women in Construction Week, we want to highlight the Skyway Center SQL project in San Carlos, CA. It includes two flanking hangar groups connected with ground floor lounge and second floor Sky Lobby and Community Space. Unique to this aviation facility is that every hangar is named in honor of inspirational women in the aviation industry. Harriet Quimby, the first American woman to fly across the English Channel in 1912; Bessie Coleman, who was both the first African American and Native American to earn an international pilot’s license and, of course, Amelia Earhart who could not be missed being one of the most famous aviation pioneers for being the first women to fly across the Atlantic Ocean both as a passenger and as a solo pilot. Skyway Center also has hangars named after Jeana Yeager, Francis Green, Gina, Christa McAuliffe, Evelyn Sharp and Desiree Horton. Check out some images from the recent grand opening event. We are honored to have been a part of the team to bring this project to life.

Recent Project Completion - Atlantic Aviation at KEUG

The Atlantic Aviation (https://www.linkedin.com/company/atlantic-aviation/) Eugene location has recently completed a major renovation. The project included a complete interior improvement to all employee and customer areas and an exterior hangar finish with the high level of attention to detail Atlantic is known for.

Last Friday night/Saturday morning, JRMA volunteers put in 8 hours of work to build the JRMA entry into the 2022 Canstruction Orange County competition. The JRMA team used over 8,000 food cans, which included tuna, whole kettle corn, sweet peas, sliced carrots, and 5 different types of beans to build the Cheshire Cat from Alice in Wonderland. The structure titled “We’re All Mad About Ending Hunger” will be displayed at the South Coast Plaza Bear Street in Costa Mesa until September 25th. You can find the Cheshire Cat on the 1st floor next to Crate & Barrel & Anthropologies.
