Job Summary & Responsibilities:
Machine Operator positions report to the Shift Supervisor. Essential duties and responsibilities include:
· Operate machinery, package, or otherwise assist in manufacturing of custom elastic products
· Must be able to work assigned hours 5 to 6 days per week
· Must be able to complete training; no prior experience necessary
Physical Demands:
· Must be able to wear all prescribed safety equipment while in the plant (safety shoes, goggles, and hearing protection). Near-constant standing and moving
· Ability to push, pull, lift (50 lbs. or more) reach, climb stairs
· Exposure to light industrial noise, light concentrations of airborne dust and a variety of chemicals
· Must be able to work full time on an ongoing basis
Education & Experience:
· High School Diploma or GED
· No experience required
· Must be able to pass a post-offer medical exam, which includes a standard physical with a vision test and drug screening.
