Finished up with the mobile livestock pen that mounts right onto a tractor today. This pen can be used for multiple different needs for sure, and could save many calves lives! With the 30” gate it can easily walk livestock to the sliding gate on a trailer to load them up in the middle of nowhere requiring no big corral setup! Thank you to another new customer for choosing Rafter S for your build!

Whew it’s been awhile since I’ve posted anything but just so everyone knows, I’ve been to dang busy! The service truck has made a travel clear down to Clinton, Missouri to weld, and stays very mobile in the neighborhood as well to keep everyone going such as the Brashear water tower springing a leak that required Rafter S to weld up! There are SEVERAL pictures attached of some before and afters. One thing I want to remind everyone is to ALWAYS check your trailers hitches and mounting points! I want to thank everyone for the continued and overwhelming amount of work that keeps coming in; we love every one of our customers and will keep on working like no other!

Yesterday I was able to get the stair handrail installed that I fabricated in the shop. Very thankful to add another local general contractor to our list that trusted Rafter S to do this work! And also I can’t say thanks enough to my father for taking the day to help paint the existing ramp railing! I was on a slight deadline for this project and with all the service calls lately I was cutting it close, and Dad basically bailed me out by offering his time to help!

To say it’s been a wild ride lately would be a complete understatement! With a page full of work to do inside the shop, and automatically dropping everything I’m doing to go on service calls to keep our hard working farmers going, there has been some very very early mornings and late nights just trying to get caught up. BLESSED to have the amount of work I do! With harvest just now really kicking into high gear, Rafter S would like to wish each and every farmer a successful and safe harvest. And sorry there’s not many pictures, it’s proof that I’m a better welder than photographer 😂.

I got to travel all the way up to Richland, Iowa today to install some aluminum that I’ve been working on awhile, also while trying to keep farmers going in the field! Lots and lots and lots of work on the books but will also keep the mobile unit rolling for all the farmers breakdowns during harvest! Thank you again to each and every customer that Rafter S has and also gains each week!

Monthly update! Things have been super busy! Farmers being broke down in fields have taken priority, per usual. I lost a bunch of pictures due to having to replace my phone but here are a few pictures of some before and afters. I know for a fact, thru last month I went thru over 50 pounds of welding rod on service calls, and that’s a pile to say the least 😂. And one thing I want to touch on is if you run a Landoll VT, please inspect your tongue on it! Thank you for all the continued and new business!!!

Very thankful to add another big company to our list of customers! This morning I took the portable setup to LaPlata MFA Agri Services to get this anhydrous cart repaired the proper way so it will be ready to get back to the field as soon as it dries up! They also sell all sorts of feed, gates, and anything you need for row crop, be sure to look them up for any of your needs. Thank you again to all our valued customers!

It’s been awhile so here will be several pictures of some of the work that’s been going on. It’s been super busy to say the least, heck I’ve even been as far as Jefferson City to do some mobile aluminum welding! There’s been several dog boxes, service calls, and just other odd and end repairs. With planting season coming up Rafter S is looking forward to being able to help out the farmers with the mobile welding setup at very, very competitive prices and top notch work! Thanks again for all of the dedicated customers that Rafter S has gained!

I finished up welding in the shop late last night to fulfill my promise to have all these pens done and installed by Christmas. Battling being sick last week I still had to work my tail off to do as I had said! Today, my “shop foreman Riggin” went to help finish installing the last of the panels, and as you can see he found a new friend too 😂. There’s a pile of work lined up, and several people waiting for estimates and I promise I’ll get to them!

I got to install some custom handrail this morning that I fabbed up in the shop. When you get calls to build custom stuff in a brand new house it’s always an honor, especially for some great people! A baby gate will be added soon and also some more railing down the stairs!
