Congratulations to all the Jackson County School System Foundation scholarship recipients, including our very own Madison Ming and Astrada Rogers! They each received the Future Engineer Scholarship which supports seniors and graduates of both East Jackson High School and Jackson County High School.

Madison and Astrada both began as work-based learning students and are now interns at BM&K, an LJA Company. Madison graduated from JCHS in 2025 and is studying civil engineering at Kennesaw State University while Astrada is set to graduate this upcoming May and will be studying architecture at Georgia Tech. We are so proud of these two!👏👏

Thank you to the Explore Braselton team for taking us on their Fact or Fiction Historic Trolley Tour!

The ladies in our Braselton office along with President Don Clerici were joined by Braselton Town Manager Jennifer Scott and Barrow County Chairman Pat Graham for a spin around downtown looking at Christmas lights and visiting historic stops along the way!

We learned more about the history of Braselton, that Town Hall is in fact NOT haunted (ask Sarah), and had a few drinks from Rebar and Cork It to top off the fun!

Congratulations to Sabrina Beeco and Will Hughes, PE!

Sabrina is now a GDOT approved Right of Way Agent! She has trained on BM&K's right of way team for over 2 years and obtained her real estate license and passed all GDOT exams. She can now make offers independently on local and DOT projects!

Will is now a licensed Professional Engineer! He has passed the PE exam and adds to LJA's growing team of 48 Professional Engineers Licensed in Georgia. He has worked with the BM&K team since 2018 as a high school intern!

We are so proud of them both!

We had a great day in Athens at the Georgia Transportation Summit with ACEC Georgia 🚦

LJA was proud to sponsor this event bringing together industry leaders from across the state to share the latest updates shaping Georgia’s infrastructure. Employee-owners from Georgia, Texas, and Tennessee attended and were able to connect with fellow transportation and GDOT professionals.

Our right of way team was also honored to be named alongside City of Milton-Government as a finalist for the Georgia Partnership for Transportation Quality (GPTQ) Right of Way Award for the Big Creek Greenway project.
