Teaching the trade one job at a time. 🔨
One of the last few days of summer before school starts, and my 10-year-old little buddy came along to help Dad finish up a job and clean up after some core drilling.
This granite definitely made us earn it. The stone was incredibly hard, we had to stop and sharpen the bit multiple times, and what should’ve been straightforward turned into a lesson in patience, perseverance, and adapting when things don’t go according to plan.
But we stuck with it, figured it out, and got it done. 💪
He’s starting to see that the trade isn’t just about building things—it’s about problem solving, working hard, taking care of the jobsite, and finishing what you start.
Pretty good way to spend one of the last days of summer with my little buddy. Maybe someday he’ll look back and realize these were the days he started learning the trade. ❤️
