Twenty-five years ago, on September 11, 2001, our world came to a standstill.

Today, we remember all those who lost their lives at the World Trade Center, the Pentagon, and aboard United Airlines Flight 93. We also honor the first responders, service members, and countless individuals who courageously came to the aid of others—many of whom made the ultimate sacrifice.

May we always remember the unity and compassion our nation showed in the face of tragedy. Today, we pause to honor every life lost and every hero who answered the call.
