EMW takes pride in fostering a culture of creativity, challenging our team to explore the vast possibilities offered by our extensive range of powder coat colors, featuring several thousand options across standard RAL lines, textures, special effects, clear coats, and chameleon color shifting colors. Recently, we completed a Junior Dragster Chassis and components in a striking deep mirror gloss black finish with Jamaican Teal accents, complemented a used Reid transmission case in gloss black with a protective clear coat and Weld Racing Wheels with a black base and green sparkle clear coat. Show us what you got Friday’s at EMW, our powder coating department laid down some Hammer Red on some van body’s for a couple of our customers, the Hammer Red has a river peel texture to it, and I might say these units came out pretty sharp. If you need your van body’s or cabs colored a different color to to match a unique design we can do it. We do have a few in house choices and we can get crazy with Prismatic Powders or even Columbia Coatings as they offer a ton of custom colors and choices to choose from. Give us a shout and let’s see what we can work out!

We've had quite a few changes throughout the year, but one that tops our list is our very own Matt Edmunds returning to drag racing. After 18 years, he has made his legendary return!! We are super excited and can't wait to see what is ahead!

We are rooting for you, Matt, along with the Edmunds/Gorris Drag Race Team, and can't wait to see what 2026 has in store! 🎉🎉🎉

As we welcome the month of November, we are excited to share our return to the Trivia Quiz back in February of this year, highlighting our recreational pursuits at Edmunds Metal Works. Our company takes great pride in its involvement in the Motorsports industry, particularly in the realm of Drag Racing, through our strategic partnership with Bradenton Motorsports Park. This partnership enables us to support the younger generation in their pursuit of racing excellence in the Junior Drag Racing categories. Moreover, we are fortunate to have long-standing team members, such as Don Gorris, who has been an integral part of our organization for 45 years, and his son Chris Gorris, who share our enthusiasm for the drag racing community. Beyond our core business activities, the Edmunds and Gorris families jointly operate a small race team, and we have been diligently building a team to participate in local racing events at our track. This past weekend, our team's tireless efforts were rewarded with a resounding victory at the Drag Race for a Cure and Little Guys Nationals charity event. We extend our warmest congratulations to Chris Gorris
for his outstanding driving , which ultimately led to the Edmunds/Gorris Team's triumph in the 6.50 Index Racing category. Thank you to all those behind the scenes and in the scenes who help and be part of our team.
