There’s no single metal roof sealant that works for every application. Seams, laps, joints, penetrations, and other connection points all create places where moisture can work its way into the roofing system if they are not sealed correctly. Metal also expands and contracts as temperatures change, so the sealing product needs to keep doing its job while the panels move.

Our 1” Nail Strip is an excellent residential panel and a good economy panel. It’s the easiest install of all standing seam. With this 24 GA, 16” wide panel, you may opt to use heavier gauge coil and narrower width panels.

One of the biggest questions surrounding metal vs traditional roofing is: Are Metal Roofs Loud?
