This is a custom tool and tool holder we built as a quickie for a one time job.
Customer had an old fork lift that had a plastic pulley at the top of the mast to guide the hydraulic hoses as the forks moved up and down. The old pulley had worn out and he could not find a replacement part. We machined this tool holder and cutters from scrap and made a new pulley from delrin. Problem solved. If you are wondering why we did not do it on a cnc lathe it is because we do not have one. We only have CNC mills. We made the cutter and tool holder and the part in about the same amount of time that it would have taken on a CNC.

New custom CNC tombstone fixtures. We built these from scratch. Sometimes we purchase a blank tombstone and just do the custom machining and design/build including the various clamps to locate and hold the part for machining. We would be happy to quote your machining fixtures.

Joshua ISD School Receives New $78,000 Shooting Range

Joshua ISD shelled out top dollar for a state-of-the-art shooting range which includes the same type of equipment used in the Olympics for rifle competitions.

The district spent $78,000 on SIUS targeting system for the Joshua High School Naval JROTC Precision Rifle Team. They just recently won first place in the Navy National Rifle Championship last month and has five student marksmen who qualified for the National Junior Olympics.

“I just think it’s absolutely wonderful that our district has enough confidence in our program to make this kind of investment for our kids, it’s been wonderful," said Lt. Col. James Davidson, the NJROTC instructor for the high school.

New tombstone tooling project. Complete project consists of machining the tombstone, machining all fixture details, mounting fixture details. Programing the parts to be machined on the tombstone, and test run on customers machine.
