This Memorial Day, all of us at Sparks Maintenance Contracting would like to pause and honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Their courage, sacrifice, and selflessness are the reason we enjoy the freedoms we have today, and we are forever grateful.
This day is especially personal for me and my family. My father, grandfather, both of my brothers, my aunts and uncles, and I have all proudly served in the military, and my two son-in-laws are currently serving on active duty. While I understand this is not Veterans Day, it hopefully gives you a sense of why Memorial Day carries such deep meaning for our family. It is a time of remembrance, reflection, gratitude, and respect for those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our nation.
On a personal note, I’m going to share a few photos of some of my family members, along with two special friends I had the honor of serving with who are no longer with us. Today, we remember them and all those who gave everything for our country.
