Just finished up three round storage containers in hot dip tinplate.

They started out as Civil War cups, that were not made up to my standards.

After sitting on my bench for a long time I decided to turn them into round containers.

The smallest one fits (nests) inside of the larger ones.

Great for the Civil or Revolutionary War reenactor in your life.

Recently we visited the Berlin (Connecticut) Historical Society and were able to look and (and hold) their amazing collection of 19th Century period tinware.

I was able to put my newly made tin tea canister against an original. Amazing how the pattern used was very close to the original.

Just completed a Tinsmithing class at Historic Eastfield Village, New York.

Great class and instructors. Thanks Richard Eckert and Steve Deslisle for a fantastic class.

Will take better photos later after I make more of the small coffee pot, 1/2 pound tea canister and small tin kettle.

Just painted one of my medium sized punched tin lanterns in brick red color.

Great time at Colonial Williamsburg on the 4th of July. Brought my handmade, punched tin lantern with a mica door.
