Job Description
We are seeking an Inside Salesperson to join our team! We have been a leader in the door, window and millwork business for almost 45 years. We are in the position of needing to replace an inside salesperson who is retiring after spending decades with us. We are a smaller company with a family-type atmosphere and low employee turnover. Although we sell to homeowners, our client base is at least 85% contractors with existing accounts or repeat business. This position does not require the solicitation of new clientele.
Responsibilities:
• Take client orders for doors, windows, and millwork. Mostly residential but some commercial buildings.
• Write up invoices for the client's purchases and price items using company procedures.
• Order materials needed from our distributors using purchase orders and company procedures.
• Help manage the production line of orders ensuring our client's order is completed within guidelines and client's needs.
• Help walk-in clients as needed.
• No sales solicitation calls are required. You will be helping existing clients with their product needs.
Qualifications:
• Previous experience in sales, customer service, or other related construction fields
• Previous experience in the pre-hung door, window and millwork business preferred.
• Familiarity with reading blueprints is a bonus.
• Ability to build rapport with clients and help them meet their needed deadlines in the building industry.
• Strong social skills
• Deadline and detail-oriented

Local deliveries of doors, windows and millwork. Load and unload and help in woodworking shop when not out on deliveries. Knowledge of the construction world is a bonus, but not necessary.
