Customer Car Show #24

This month’s Customer Car Show feature shines a spotlight on Gregg’s stunning 1959 Pontiac Bonneville Sport Coupe from Burbank, California, a true driver’s car that perfectly balances originality with carefully chosen modern upgrades.

With just 66,000 original miles, this numbers matching Bonneville still retains its original interior while benefiting from tasteful enhancements that improve reliability and drivability for today’s roads. Gregg has thoughtfully refreshed the car with upgrades including a front disc conversion kit, an original replacement Carter carburetor, and a master engine overhaul kit.

What we love most about this Pontiac is that it’s far from a garage queen. “The Mistress,” as Gregg affectionately calls her, is driven and enjoyed exactly as a classic car should be.

Congratulations to Steven Jacobsen from Succasunna, NJ on winning the Best Restoration Award at the Boonton Car Show for his stunning 1967 Chevrolet C10!

This award holds a special meaning to all of us at Kanter Auto, as it was dedicated in honor of one of our founders, Dan Kanter, who sadly passed away last year. Dan’s passion for the automotive community and dedication to helping keep classic cars on the road continues to inspire us every day.

Steven’s beautifully restored C10 is a true reflection of the craftsmanship, passion, and commitment that make the classic car community so special. We were honored to recognize both his incredible build and the spirit of restoration that Dan cared so deeply about.
