The Smeding Performance 427 LS3 Long Block comes in configurations rated for 1,300 or 1,700 horsepower, so you can start with a package that fits your goals. Both feature a heavy-duty iron 6-bolt block, a 4340 steel crankshaft, and CNC-ported LS3 heads. Stepping up to the 1,700hp package gets you upgrades including 300M billet rods and JE Ultra pistons.

We set bearing clearances and ring gaps for your specific application, and we can help you choose the right piston volume and camshaft to bring your combination together.
