Are you a skilled CNC/Manual machinist?

Come join our team.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: Up to $34.00 per hour

Responsibilities:

- Set up and operate manual and/or CNC machines such as lathes and milling machines
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine machining operations
- Use hand tools and measuring instruments to ensure accuracy of machined parts
- Perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment
- Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve machining issues
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
-Programs CNC machine to determine machine adjustments and material requirements.
-Load CAD drawn CNC programs with job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements.
-Observes machine operation to detect defects or machine malfunction.
-Load and unload structural steel from machine with overhead crane.
-Remove burrs from parts. Clear scrap shavings and debris from machine when required.
-Package parts for delivery or pick up.
-The ability to work overtime and regular, punctual attendance is required.

Skills:
- Experience operating milling machines and other manual and CNC machining equipment
- Knowledge of CAD/CAM programming for machining operations
- Ability to use hand tools effectively for precision work
- Forklift operation skills for material handling purposes
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of machining principles

Experience and Requirements:
-Previous machinist experience in an industrial setting is preferred
-Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen

Expected hours:
-No less than 40 per week
