IMTS 2026 is only 3 months away! GROB Systems is excited to partner with TWO exhibitors in different halls this year:

LANG TECHNIK (Booth #236637 - North Bldg., Level 3) - GROB is partnered with LANG to machine an American Flag belt buckle demonstration part using the GROB G150 5-Axis Universal Machining Center paired with the LANG Robotrex automation system.

YG-1 Tool Co. (Booth #431400 - West Bldg., Level 3) - GROB is also partnered with YG-1 to showcase our G550 Universal Machining Center, a larger machine designed to support multiple industries, including aerospace, medical, automotive, and generally 5-axis machining.

Multiple live machining demos will be shared in both booths.

Thank you to all of our customers, suppliers, and employees who helped make the Take the Lead event at our Bluffton facility a success! We worked through the machining of a DALLARA racecar suspension part and shared presentations and demonstrations from programming and tool path optimization to live cutting on a GROB G350 and hands-on experience with partner products, cutting tools, tool and work holding, CAM, and TNC.

On Saturday, May 16th, we held orientation for the 2026 Apprentice Class! They were able to meet the staff, take a tour, pick up some swag, and most importantly, learn more about GROB and their career. We look forward to welcoming all 53 new apprentices on Monday, June 8th!

It’s signing day season! Lately, our apprenticeship staff has been attending senior award ceremonies and signing day events to recognize and congratulate students accepted into our 2026 Apprenticeship Class. In less than a month, we will bring in 53 new apprentices. We can’t wait to see what great things they will accomplish!
