In honor of National Volunteer Week, we give heartfelt thanks to the Enforcement Division’s volunteer instructors across Minnesota who give so much of themselves to ensure others have the knowledge and skills they need to recreate safely outdoors.

The 6,000 people who volunteer across our ATV, fi****ms, and snowmobile safety programs are truly the backbone of safety education in Minnesota, and we couldn’t do it without them.

There’s no doubt their commitment and dedication have made our state a safer place.

Today we held our youth snowmobile safety class. We have 8 newly certified snowmobilers! Congratulations!

-Thank you to our Snowrover Club Volunteers Lucas K, Zack K, Jacob D, Terry J, Connor O and Travis W that helped make the course happen!

Now everyone please do a snow dance, our groomers are ready to go, just need more snow ❄️

West of Blue Earth to Gukeen then north to Martin Co. line is groomed. Working back toward Clubhouse and woods south of Blue Earth. Things are looking great!

Update on our trail grooming GOOD NEWS ⬇️
- trails to Frost, Elmore and around the clubhouse was done Thursday.
-trail from clubhouse to gukeen was done Friday evening. Please note our trail to gukeen has changed slightly. Follow trail signs.
BAD NEWS ⬇️
- Friday it was discovered that our bigger machine (Tucker sno cat) needs repairs. We have parts ordered and hoping it’s back in action next week. We will continue grooming as much as we can with our older smaller Bombardier machine.

-Both of our groomers are out today (Thursday) working towards Elmore, Frost and clubhouse areas.

-Then planning to head to Gukeen/Martin Co. line, then north to Winnebago, east to Delavan and Easton Friday evening.

-It appears like we may have more snow on the way too, get those sleds out and registered and enjoy!

Looking for something to do tonight?

Join us this evening at 6:00 at our clubhouse (just south of Blue Earth on 169) for our annual meeting. We will be serving chicken wild rice, chili, sandwiches and some goodies for anyone and everyone who comes and pays yearly memberships ($50)
