Today’s Advanced Manufacturing Business Advisory Council (BAC) meeting at Butler Tech provided networking and brainstorming opportunities between educators, industry partners and students.

We also received an update on the Advanced Manufacturing Workforce and Innovation Hub — a cutting-edge partnership between Miami University and Butler Tech Career Technical Center that aims to develop an educated workforce meeting all levels of need within the region’s manufacturing sector. The Hub’s grand opening is scheduled for January 2026.

We had an encouraging visit this week from Josh Younce, the new Manufacturing Technology Instructor with Butler Tech at Colerain High School. Josh brings real world industry experience to the classroom, having worked at Feintool for over twenty years! We’re in the process of bringing on one of Josh’s high school seniors as a co-op — and look forward to strengthening our industry/education partnership moving forward.

We have been a long-time supporter of Live Oaks Career Campus in Milford, OH, having the first co-op from its precision machining program many years ago.
