Another look at Jason Durschmidt behind the wheel of a Fendt IDEAL 9T during harvest. There's no substitute for hands-on experience when evaluating equipment.

Out in southwest Iowa, a Fendt IDEAL 8T paired with a Geringhoff cornhead is getting the chance to showcase its capabilities during a customer demo.

Earlier this fall, we stopped out with a customer before they got rolling. With a Gleaner S97 and an R75 tuned up and ready, you can be sure it was a productive harvest.

Loaded up and headed to New Hampton.

This cornhead is on its way to a customer demo, giving growers the opportunity to evaluate performance of the implement. Ready for the next field demonstration.

Getting a chance to see equipment perform in your own fields is what really matters. Jason Durschmidt is putting a MY26 Fendt IDEAL 9T through its paces this harvest and seeing what it's capable of in real-world conditions.

We started a demo with a Fendt 722 Vario tractor from Ziegler Ag Equipment last month. As soon as it showed up, all it did was rain rain rain. So it sat all pretty in the yard because there wasn’t a dang thing we could do with how muddy it was.

We drove it around some. Hooked it up to the new rake and Sterling has been playing with all sorts of features like a little kid in a candy store.

That demo has now turned into a lease this fall to really try it out and see what we think of potentially having a Fendt in the tractor line-up. We’ve used it to roll up some cornstalk bales already and so far, everyone has been a fan.

We’re in that awkward space where we need a mid-sized tractor. Not too big, but not a small one. Something that could run the bale processor, put up hay, run the auger, haul manure and maybe even run the feeder wagon if we took the duals off.

The fall & spring turns into a bottleneck with tractors around here, so it’s been on our watch list for a while.

So we’re giving this one a shot to see what we think!

Do you run a Fendt on your operation?? I’ve got a few friends who do and love them!

Good inventory. Solid financing.

If a big purchase is on your radar for next year, this might be the year to make the move. 👏
