Aerotech Machining continues to expand its manufacturing capabilities with the addition of three new Flow Mach 500 waterjet systems, each equipped with 6.5' x 13.5' cutting tables. According to Joey Jones, President and CEO of Aerotech Machining, "this new equipment can serve any industry. Our current and potential customers will definitely reap the benefits from the Flow Mach 500 waterjets, which are unmatched in accuracy and speed."


The new Flow Mach 500 waterjets are the latest in a series of Aerotech Machining's investments in equipment and technology. Aerotech Machining serves regional, national, and international customers in the Aerospace, Agriculture, Power Generation, and Railways industries.

We’re happy to report that Aerotech Machining has earned national recognition as Modern Machine Shop’s Top Shops Honoree in Machining Technology for 2025. According to Modern Machine Shop, Aerotech Machining earned this status for a number of reasons, from our apprenticeship program and investing in employee skills to investing in new equipment and technology such as 3D printers and machines that use SmoothAI controls. We appreciate all of our team members who helped us earn this honor!

We are pleased to announce that Joey Jones, President and CEO of Aerotech Machining, has been honored as one of Georgia’s Most Influential Leaders. He was one of 500 leaders from throughout the state highlighted in Georgia Trend Magazine’s GEORGIA 500 / Georgia’s Most Influential Leaders 2025.

According to Georgia Trend, the GEORGIA 500 is a “selection of the greatest non-elected leaders in our state,” adding that “many factors go into the selection process because we have so many leaders working together to promote economic development and quality of life in Georgia.”

U.S. Small Business Administrator (SBA) Kelly Loeffler recently visited Aerotech Machining. According to SBA Administrator Loeffler, the visit was part of the administration’s Made in America Manufacturing Roadshow.

Aerotech Machining President and CEO Joey Jones and members of his leadership team met with the SBA Administrator and gave her a tour of the manufacturing facility, which recently had a major expansion. “I visited Aerotech Machining - where 's fair trade policies are jumpstarting the NEW collar boom,” the SBA Administrator said. “Small businesses in advanced manufacturing are the foundation of American strength and national security," she added.

Several months ago, Aerotech Machining announced the completion of its newest flexible manufacturing system (FMS) in its Bloomingdale, GA facility. The recent expansion is part of the company's long-term strategy to ramp its complex machining reach as well as combat the manufacturing labor shortage.

Aerotech Machining has announced the completion of its newest flexible manufacturing system (FMS) in its Bloomingdale, GA facility.

Joey Jones, President and CEO of Aerotech Machining, said “this expansion is part of the company's long-term strategy to ramp its complex machining reach as well as combat the manufacturing labor shortage.”

Sagar Patel, the company's chief operating officer, said, "The recent installation gives us three multi-axis machine tools linked to 44 pallets and 400 tools. This system allows for advanced scheduling and just-in-time manufacturing. The state-of-the-art automation is designed for fully optimized production flow.”
