A case cart is more than a piece of transport equipment. It is the controlled link between Sterile Processing, the OR, and the return of used devices for reprocessing. Clean and sterile instruments, wrapped sets, containers, and supplies need protection as they move through corridors, elevators, staging areas, and procedural spaces. After the procedure, the same workflow must safely manage used and contaminated items on their return to decontamination.

For appropriate environmental and noncritical surfaces, these products have a role when used according to their label and the device manufacturer’s IFU.
