I just want to make my customers aware. I tore up my right shoulder pretty bad and will be going out for surgery. I'll be down completely for 6-8 weeks. I should be back to work by mid April, so I should be good for hay season and planting.

PSA for Case IH 5100, 5200, MX, MXC and Mccormick, MC, and MTX. These are the most common pto problems I see with these tractors. I pull several ptos a year for either the leaks or broken/worn shift pins. Definitely a weak point in an otherwise excellent tractor.

Both problems can be exacerbated by forcing the shaft in when switching to 540 rpm. Doing so can damage the pins and loosen the plug in the end of the sleeve.

Another old workhorse put back to work. This 1566 recieved a clutch, TA, park lock update, all new a/c with a condenser relocation kit, cab kit, floor mat, batteries and cables and several other smaller things.

Update to my customers. My injury is going to require surgery to repair. I will be going in for surgery on July 25th. For at least 2 months I will not be doing any work. I will not be fully recovered for a total of 4-6 months. I'm going to try and get most everything I have on the books done prior to surgery. Please bear with me through this. I won't be 100% for harvest but it looks like I should be able to do some at least. I'll be a one armed mechanic at a wrench slinging contest for awhile. Thank you all.

Just a heads up to all my customers. I tore a tendon in my left arm today. I will still be working as the pain (and doc) allows, but with one arm. As of right now larger projects are on hold and I will be concentrating on service calls to keep you all in the field. Thank You.

I now have genuine CNH EST diagnostic software as well as the communication cables. This allows me to perform diagnostics on Case IH and New Holland ag equipment as well as Case, New Holland, and Kobelco Construction.

I also have John Deere Service Advisor, Kubota Diagmaster, Bobcat, Cat, Komatsu, Cummins, and JCB. I do not have the communication cables for these programs yet. I hope to have the Deere cable and Kubota cable later this year if there is enough demand.
