When your plunger pump packing blows out, the mess on the ground may be the least of your problems.

Failed packing can allow fluid to migrate into the power end, contaminating the oil and potentially causing premature bearing failure and costly downtime.

A packing issue caught early is a repair.
A packing issue ignored can turn into a complete pump rebuild.

Don’t wait until a small leak becomes a big problem.

This could have easily resulted in unplanned downtime and lost production. Luckily, we caught the issue during a routine check, brought it to the customer’s attention, and they had us replace it the following day before it became a failure.

Routine inspections and preventative maintenance can make the difference between a planned repair and an unexpected shutdown.

Reach out today if you’d like us to come walk through your equipment and see where we can help keep you up and running.

Late-night customer callout? That’s what we’re here for.

At 10:00 PM, we responded to a customer needing a packing replacement on a plunger pump. While making the repair, we discovered the stuffing box threads were on the verge of failing.

At Red Yeti Services, we don’t believe in cutting corners or simply getting equipment back online long enough to make it someone else’s problem. We take the extra time to inspect the entire pump, identify potential failures, and repair them the right way—the first time.

Doing the job right means fewer breakdowns, less downtime, and more reliability for our customers. No matter the hour, quality comes first.
