Automotive Mechanic/Technician

We are currently seeking an Automotive Mechanic/Technician to become an integral part of our team! You will diagnose, adjust, repair, and overhaul automotive vehicles.

Responsibilities:

- Inspect, diagnose, and repair automotive vehicles
- Knowledge and ability to work on a variety of vehicles new and older (up to 25 years old).
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Adequately explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals which may include employees and customers on an as-required basis.
- Continuously learn new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions in order to stay abreast with rapidly changing automotive technology.
- Assist fellow technicians/mechanics in performing technical activities.
- Keep store management aware of mechanical repair problems as they occur.
- Maintain an organized and neat shop.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, safety and environmental rules.

Qualifications

Automotive Repair: 2 years (Preferred)
Driver's License (Necessary)
ASE Certification (Preferred)

Responsibilities would include

· Available to work a flexible schedule including weekends

· Automotive parts experience required

· Retail sales experience required and Excellent customer service skills

· Well knowledgeable on motor parts and body requirements

· Self-motivated individual who is ready to be trained and ready to learn

· Has the ability to thrive in a busy, fast-paced retail environment

· Has working knowledge of cataloging AND/OR inventory management systems, a plus

· ASE certification would be a major plus

A locally owned business, Welle Auto is looking to hire 2 hard-working and dedicated Counter Sales/Inside Salesperson. We are a staple of the community and are proud of our heritage, we want a team member that would continue to service our loyal client base, and that would grow with us.

The successful individual would be a knowledgeable and energetic person, who is passionate about automotive parts and is driven by the satisfaction of seeing happy customers. The salesperson will provide new and existing customers world class service, while supporting other team members and management in accomplishing tasks, this would include inventory maintenance, shipping/receiving, and store appearance maintenance as required.

“Keep Healthy....We're Essential!!”
Since Auto Parts and Service is considered an essential part of business.
Welle Auto Supply will not be closing unless asked to by our government.
The team at Welle Auto Supply has been working hard over the last several weeks to prepare for the potential impacts of the coronavirus. We exist to serve our customers and are doing everything in our power to continue to serve at the level you expect. We are doing everything that we can to ensure we stay on top of the situation so we can keep our employees and customers safe and healthy during this time.
Following CDC guidelines we will be doing the following:
1. Enforcing social distancing. Please help us by keeping a minimum of 4-6 feet between our employees and other customers.
2. Please limit interaction time during these COVID-19 health concerns. Although our employees enjoy talking to their friends and customers, management has decided that we need to get the customer in and out of the store as quickly as possible.
3. Customers will be entering through our main door, but will be EXITING out our side door to prevent less social interaction.
4. At this time our counter crew will not be making trips to the parking lot to look at customers cars.
5. We will cleaning & sanitizing at least 3 times a day.
6. Please wear a mask if you can. I this does not keep you or us from getting sick, but DOES PREVENT FURTHER TRAVEL of the virus and makes it easier for us to keep clean.
We are all essential to helping our communities and each other get through this. We will get through this and be even stronger on the other side.

Speaking of essential heroes, if you are so inclined, please pray for the medical professionals who are – or may soon be – on the front lines of fighting this virus. We owe it to them to take this seriously by following the instructions of our government officials and the CDC to keep ourselves and our families safe and healthy.

Due to the Coronavirus, we have decided to reduce our open hours. New hours are Monday thru Friday 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM and Sat thru Sun 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
