I was reminded today of a statement " It takes a village". It is one thing to save money when times are tough but by not supporting your local businesses you stand the risk of losing not just a place to buy, but what ever services they might be providing. There is always someone willing to sell at a discounted price when they don't have a vested interest in the community.

When you pay too little, you sometimes lose everything, because the thing you bought was incapable of doing the thing is was bought to do.

There is hardly anything in the world that someone can't make a little worse and sell a little cheaper - and people who consider price alone are this man's lawful prey.
