CDL DELIVERY DRIVER/WAREHOUSE WORKER

Pahlke Steel, Inc. has a full-time position open for a combo CDL Delivery Driver/Warehouse worker. Most days, this person will be making deliveries to surrounding areas, hauling new steel products utilizing a semi-flatbed and pipe trailer. Some days, this person will work in our steel warehouse loading & unloading material, inventory, help customers and work with our other warehouse personnel performing various tasks. Must have clean driving record & be 21 years of age for insurance purposes. Employer conducts drug testing, background and MVR checks. Most positions in our steel shop require moderate to heavy lifting and can be physically demanding. Must be able to work overtime as required. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION:

Must possess valid Class A CDL driver’s license.

Must be 21 years of age and have a clean driving record.

Capability to lift up to 100 pounds

Ability to operate & read tape measure.

Ability to operate the following machinery: walking crane, forklift, wheel loader

Deadline-oriented, dependable, punctual, strong communication skills, receptive to supervision, ability to build and keep client relationships

High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.

Most positions in our steel shop require moderate to heavy lifting and can be physically demanding. Must be able to work overtime as required.
