This is how Dwight Hinkel, founder of Applied Engineering, describes his education and early career. Hinkel worked at Steiger Tractor 12 hours a day, 6 days a week all while working toward a Mechanical Engineering degree from NDSU. While time-consuming, this effort and work ethic set the foundation for Dwight's future - and the future success of Applied Engineering.
