We’ve expanded our Oklahoma City operations with a newly constructed AC and armature coil facility and now the purchase of an adjacent building for our growing DC coil department at 7236 SW 44th Street!

This expansion adds 26,000 sq. ft. of manufacturing space, new equipment, and more jobs—strengthening our ability to serve customers across the Southwest, Texas, Midwest, and Northwest.

We’re excited to showcase our new facilities during the EASA Southwestern Chapter Open House on October 3rd!

🌟 Employee Spotlight: Sidney Nguyen! 🌟

Meet Sidney — a key part of our Precision Coil & Rotor - Oklahoma City team! Sidney began his career in coil manufacturing back in 2005 on the production floor at Industrial Coil. Over the years, he’s grown into a role where he wears many hats: quoting new orders, scheduling, keeping customers updated, coordinating shipping, ordering materials, managing inventory — and even lending a hand with production on the weekends!

Sidney’s favorite part of working at Precision Coil? “Every day is just a little different.”

A few fun facts about Sidney:

👉 When he was younger, he dreamed of being an English teacher.
👉 He’s a loyal San Francisco 49er’s and OKC Thunder fan.
👉 Thanksgiving is his favorite holiday — bring on the turkey, stuffing, football, and chilly weather!
👉 His best vacation? A spontaneous road trip to New Mexico — with no destination in mind until partway through!
👉 He can’t live without his candy cane or spearmint Chapstick.

Around the office, Sidney is known for his dedication, sense of humor (he loves bad puns and dad jokes!), and the great camaraderie he shares with the team.

At Precision Coil and Rotor, we take pride in our in-house repair services. Recently, we successfully restored a 1225Kw 1200 RPM generator rotor, ensuring optimal performance for our clients.

The meticulous work scope for the generator rotor included:

- Complete disassembly of the rotor
- Rewinding of the rotating field coils
- Installation of new coils on the shaft with fresh tapered wedges
- Connection of under-mounted damper windings
- Running of coil connections, insulation, and final testing
