Australian racing legend George Vidovic added us to the Python US Army this week. Hope he had smooth braking as his rotors were a challenge to turn. Had to resort to the DCM to make it happen. Gods speed George. Nice to meet you mate.

70 and 75 inch clutch/brakes from a 3500 ton Ajax press. So heavy 4 grown men can’t handle one without mechanical assistance. First of these we’ve had in a while. Currently 3 in house. Each one will take 8 30 x 30 flat stock of 3/8 thick material. For those not in the biz, that’s a lot of flat stock.

Electric motor brake/clutch depending on application. This guy is a brake. Oil soaked and lining ripped off. Bonded with 3/16 heavy duty woven roll material.

Big news from a long time customer.

The facility will be capable of producing approximately 1.2 million tons of steel plate products per year. Nucor expects the plant to be fully operational by 2022.
