We offer turn-key solutions to dust and fume problems. Check out this “further processing system” we provided to a food processing manufacturer for their breading application.

Our engineers designed the system to comply with NFPA 654 regulations and provided FDA approved equipment such as the duct, clamps, gaskets, flexible tubing, etc.

We can design a system to solve your problems and meet your industry standards.

Why do we recommend Swingout Easy Access centrifugal fans and roof ventilators? The short answer is to “Protect your Profits and Production”

How so?
If you look up at the PRVs in most industrial facilities you will find fans that are not in operation. Why? Too often it’s because the internals (prop, belts, bearings, etc.) require maintenance and you can’t access them safely. That leaves you with inadequate plant/mill ventilation which affects employee health, comfort, and production.
1. ACCESS- Complete access for inspection, cleaning, and maintenance. No need to remove the fan.
2. SAFETY- Personnel work safely on the roof and ARE NOT working over an unguarded roof opening.
3. PRODUCTION- Work is done over the roof minimizing the risk of anything falling into the plant below.
Swingout construction provides easy, safe access to the propeller, shaft, bearings, drive, and motor for inspection, cleaning, maintenance or repair without removing the entire fan assembly or having personnel working directly over the roof opening.

One of the bigger issues in pneumatic conveying systems is wear life on rotary valves. Rotary airlock valves are still the workhorse of the pneumatic conveying industry because they are usually the best device out there for metering material while creating a seal to differential pressure. Below are 3 indicators your rotary valve needs to be replaced….
1. Reduced conveying rate in your system
2. Convey lines begin to plug-up
3. Blower pressure is “bouncing”

Check out our new Sandpiper Testimonial from one of our loyal customers. Sandpiper heavy duty flap valve pumps are recommended for abrasive slurries, suspended/non-suspended solids and line-size solids. These pumps have a large flow area to allow up to line size solids to pass directly through the pump while also having superior suction lift capabilities. Solve your blockage issues today! Having issues with an underperforming system? Even the most efficiently designed and expertly built systems will not operate at optimal levels if the system is out of balance. Keep efficiency at peak performance by testing & re-balancing your system.

Fluid Engineering offers testing and balancing of existing air systems to maximize performance while isolating and eliminating problems in the system caused by poor design or inferior equipment.

Once problems are identified, our engineers will offer the best solution to those problems and the equipment and services to meet those recommendations.

The primary goal of an industrial ventilation system hood is to capture and remove containment at the source. Effective local exhaust hoods are designed for their specific application and examine the following hood selection factors:

*Potential for Outside Air Currents

*Nature of the Process Which Generates the Contaminant

*Potential for Contaminating the Breathing Zone (canopy hoods)

*Worker compatibility

Fluid Engineering has provided custom and effective local exhaust hoods for over 28 years for ventilation and air pollution control systems. Connect with us to see how we can help provide ventilation solutions for you and your process.

The Donaldson iCue family of services is a connected filtration service to monitor industrial dust collectors using Industrial IoT. The subscription service monitors industrial dust collectors and sends real-time data and maintenance alerts directly to facility management teams. The information is designed to prompt timely maintenance that can help improve production uptime and reduce operating costs.

Initial users have reported results in three main categories:

*Reduced downtime for dust collection equipment and associated
production lines,
*Lower maintenance costs for labor and parts, including longer filter
replacement intervals, and
*Better management of dust collector tasks and compliance reporting
data.
