Hey, been a minute. Noticed this page was getting some attention. So I’d figured I throw out a post to see how it does.
These are the rigs in the Western New York area that are rostered on the task force.
Kenilworth Fire District No.2
Squad 4- 2015 E-One Walk-in rescue. Equipped with a cascade system, light tower and camera, pop out awning, and a command station. Carrries a full complement of ropes, electric cutters/spreaders, and various outlets rescue equipment,
Engine 3x -1968 Young Crusader Rescue Pumper. Equipped with a 1250 GPM pump, 750 gallon tank. It has been updated to carry modern rescue equipment. Used primarily as a second piece/back up to Squad 4 as it can only handle a 5 man crew.
Chief’s truck (Unofficially Kenilworth 9) Has a command station in the bed, and it also carries a small complement of rescue ropes and harnesses.
City of Buffalo Fire Department
Rescue 1- 2019 Seagrave Walk in rescue.
Rescue 2-2002 American LaFrance walk in rescue.
I haven’t thought much of what the Buffalo rigs would have or carry because I’m not familiar with what the real R1 carries. And R2 doesn’t exist anymore.
Hope y’all enjoyed this. This all for fun. A lot of what I’ve stated doesn’t apply to real life. Im definitely stretching the truth a bit for the sake of fun.
