122 years.
Generations of blood, sweat, and tears.
12+ decades of loyal customers and a community that supported us during the highs and lows.

Our hearts ache as memories flash through our minds staring at a pile of ash. These are some of our favorite memories with some photos and videos when the mill was alive and thriving…

-The sawdust pile was our kids’ “sand pit” for years
-The old trolly was the best rollercoaster ride around
-The bottom drawer of the desk was the secret stash of stickers and notepads for the kids to play with
-The naughty frog that hid the key
-The “safety meetings” on cold mornings that often just meant no one was ready to go outside and be cold yet 😂
-The stray cats that became part of our families
-The wildlife that grew up in the comfort of the mill - dear, birds, raccoons, skinks and many more that we watched grow up and have families
-The cash scavenger hunt we’d have every Monday morning from people paying for firewood and hiding it all over the mill
-Nancy’s alter ego “Diane”
-“Maaaarryyyyyyy, phone!!!”
-Dave’s world of treasures & benches

….and so so so many more.

Will we continue? Unfortunately, this is probably the end of an era. 💔 Believe us, this hurts us as much as it hurts you. But we hope to continue serving the community with fresh fruit from the orchard. We’d love to see you at the roadside stand during fruit season with our Moyer's Fruits & Treasures stand.

Please feel free to stop by and say hi in the coming weeks. We won’t say no to clean-up help and hearing your own memories of the mill.

➡️➡️➡️
If you are interested in helping, we will post when we are able to start working on things. Right now we are at a stand still waiting on insurance. So please stay tuned.

We love you all more than you know.

-The Moyer Family 🤍

Hey look at that! We made it in the paper 🥰

We love serving our community with our unique custom-cutting lumber business. And best of all, we get to do it side-by-side with our family.

Thank you to all of our past, current, and future customers! We wouldn’t be able to do what we do without you! ♥️

For 28 years, sisters Mary Haag and Nancy Kieffer have been operating Moyer’s Sawmill in Bernville, Pennsylvania, after taking over the business from their father.
