oduct line. AIL Systems created the RAM2000 product line in 1995, then merged with EDO Defense Systems in 2000. In 2007 EDO became part of ITT Corporation, a high-technology engineering and manufacturing corporation with more than 40,000 employees worldwide. Kassay has supported the RAM2000 product since inception. The RAM2000 is distinguished as the only open path FTIR that completed the USEPA’s Environmental Technology Verification Program (ETV). KASSAY specializes in applying EPA method TO-16: Open path FTIR monitoring of atmospheric gases. KASSAY maintains installed fence line and perimeter gas monitoring systems for industrial clients that require early warning of chemical releases. Many of the installed systems include continuous output and alarming for potentially harmful vapors

Implemented the RAM2000TM OP-FTIR test with USEPA's contractor (Batelle) for the Environmental Technology Verification Program (ETV). To date, we believe it is the only OP-FTIR with this certification. Gained approval for the RAM2000TM to be listed as a tool for DHS Early warning detection of toxic chemicals for first responders, (2005 SAVER). The RAM2000TM spectrometer is the only OP-FTIR with this approval. [ 239 more words ]

In it's 22 years of business, Kassay and the RAM2000 FTIR spectrometer product line has been successful in many countries around the world. Trinidad: Nariva Swamp The RAM2000 was used to monitor background levels of atmospheric gases from prevailing winds off the subequatorial Atlantic Ocean for a reforestation project. An integrated Climatronics F460 met-tower was used to document meterological conditions. The RAM2000 was set at multiple (one way path) distances ranging from 20 meters up to 1/2 a kilometer to the Retro-Reflector. [ 558 more words ]
