With a best of 7.57 et, 184 mph and a 1.20 sixty foot in competition this is one bad street bike.

Proud of our team this pass weekend, Platinum Fleet Repair Platinum General Services had a great showing at the 21st annual XDA Bike Fest held at Maryland International Raceway in the Real Street class.

We had our second semi-final visit against a tight field, running consistently as well as qualifying 3rd in class. We also improved on our personal bests with entry into the .50 club with a 7.59 pass and bumping our trap speed up to 183.4 mph in less than ideal conditions for a normally aspirated engine.

Team owner and rider, Ralphie Navarro killed riding duties all weekend cutting good and consistent lights, Shane Stubbs from Stubbs Total Performance, INC. built an engine and chassis that performed flawlessly as always. The Maxxecu_usa engine management system makes our job at Standard Cycle Company as tuners/calibrators that much easier to manage the impressive power this normally aspirated engine is capable of.

Thank you to all our partners in this race program, without your help and products this would not be possible.

For the boost lovers out there, how does a 400 hp pump gas, intercooled true street bike grab you?

After having a poor experience with another shop having a turbo kit installed and tuned our new customer decided to look for another facility to have inspect and repair the install.

After looking over the bike we decided a clean slate was needed, so we had our friends at Knecum Power refresh and inspect the motor. Richard Peppler at RCC Turbo supplied us with a custom spec kit using a stage 2 billet ball bearing turbo and their Ultra liquid to air intercooled billet plenum along with their billet mechanical scavenge pump.

For engine management and fuel supply we used a Maxxecu_usa Race H2O EMS, Injector Dynamics ID1050 fuel injectors on a single billet fuel rail, 044 Bosch fuel pump being pulse width controlled by the Maxxecu / Maxxtuning AB Race to supply target fuel pressure. For data display and supplying acceleration, GPS ground speed, target boost pressure, etc data to the Maxxecu via CAN for active input to our inhouse calibration we utilized a Plex Tuning SDM-550 dash with integrated 20Hz GNSS & 100Hz IMU.

Both the Maxxecu Race and Plex SDM-550 were installed with our own in house club motorsport level plug and play harnesses utilizing the stock and completely unmodified Hayabusa harness. This combination of hardware and wiring keeps factory level weather/water proofing and keeps the bike a practical motorcycle that can be ridden in all weather.

Chassis wise we exchanged an oversized swingarm to a more manageable 62 inch wheel base swingarm custom built to our specifications from our friends at DME Racing using an in the swingarm engine breather catch can, and switched to Dunlop Motorcycle Tires Q3 tires. Along with the chassis adjustments performed this combination will better cope with the power and speed that this motorcycle is now capable of.

Our custom in house calibration/tune has been done for an OEM level experience in rideability and usability using various levels of power management, boost control, and safeties in place to keep the rider safe and keep the engine happy for a long time to come all done on our load controlled chassis dyno in our custom engineered dyno cell.
