A lack of consistency in stainless steel fabrication can wreak havoc in your equipment production, and leave your customers with delayed, or partial, shipments. At Ace Metal Crafts Company, we collaborated with one of the world’s largest packaging solutions providers for the pharmaceutical and food industries. The company was ever vigilant about maintaining consistent quality from their existing stainless steel tube supplier. Realizing ongoing issues with assembly were due to a lack of consistency with the stainless steel tubes, the packaging solutions provider decided to find a different supplier.

We were asked to evaluate the forming tube requirements, and after close analysis with the assembly and purchasing teams of the packaging solutions provider, we had a clear understanding of the part requirements and functionality. Understanding how a part works in a machine assembly is crucial to successfully fabricating to specification. As a result or our research, we were tasked with building a forming tube for evaluation.
