Thank you all for such a wonderful Oktoberfest!

We want to thank the 400+ attendees, vendor partners, employees, and all participants for helping make this the biggest and best IAS Oktoberfest yet!

The band was amazing, the food truck was exceptional, and the b**r was cold & fresh from the breweries next door.

All of the tech demos were super interesting, and the leaves and weather were perfect.

More highlight posts to come, but we already can't wait for next year!

We wanted a good way to both recognize and distinguish our Quality Department & Internal Auditing Teams...

Our internal auditing team consists of 12 or so ESOP owners from various cross-functional departments, who commit several days over a few months to perform our internal auditing activity.

Our CFO had an idea for Marketing to design an Airline logo of some sort that could be applied to various swag and such, making it an internal exclusive that you can get only by participating on the audit team.

The prompt from our Quality Manager: "The first image that comes to my mind is the inspector from the Pink Panther cartoons"

Here's what we came up with!

It’s a small way for us to recognize the people who help keep us accountable. Our Quality Team is committed to maintaining the high standards our customers expect and finding ways to keep getting better.

What exactly is an ESOP?

You may have seen us say that Airline Hydraulics is 100% employee-owned before, but what does that actually mean?

ESOP stands for Employee Stock Ownership Plan.

Put simply, shares of the company are only distributed internally to employees. Instead of Airline being owned by a private individual, outside investors, or another corporation, 100% of the company is owned through our employee ownership plan.

So what does that mean day to day?

It means the people doing the work have a direct connection to the company’s long-term success.

We build it, support it, grow it, and at the end of the day, we own it.

Employee-ownership is ingrained in how we think about the work we do, how we serve our customers, and the company we’re building for the future.

Operators often need just a few things at the machine: Clear instruction, a simple way to respond, and an easy-to-see indication of what is happening. That sounds simple, but in practice, it can lead to a control panel crowded with push buttons, indicator lights, labels, counters, and other devices.

The other option is often a full HMI, which may provide more capability and cost than the application really needs.

The new Banner Engineering S100 Multi-Touch Display gives machine builders and manufacturers another option, bringing touch controls, text prompts, status indication, and operator feedback together in one compact device.

In this article, we look at the common problem the S100 addresses and the features that make it such an interesting option for point-of-use machine control -

Discover how the Banner S100 Multi-Touch Display streamlines operator tasks, enhancing efficiency and clarity in machine control with its innovative features.
