Look closely at the ribbed wall at Vance Hall at UPenn in Philadelphia and you'll find an access door built right into the paneling. The slats run straight across it and one is notched to make room for the lock, so the door all but disappears into the wall. From the lobby it reads as one continuous surface.

It takes careful layout to pull off: every slat has to line up across panel joints, reveals, and the door edge, and all of it has to sit perfectly on the bronze base below. That kind of alignment starts in our shop drawings and finishes in our Bensalem shop.

Meet one of the hardest workers in our shop.

Our HOMAG CNC takes approved shop drawings and turns them into cut, drilled, and routed parts, as accurate on the five-hundredth panel as on the first. That matters when a project calls for dozens of matching units across multiple floors.

The machine handles the repetition. Our team handles everything that takes judgment.

University of Pennsylvania, Vance Hall, Philadelphia.

For this university lobby, NVM fabricated and installed floor-to-ceiling ribbed wood paneling that wraps the elevator bank in warmth and rhythm. Hundreds of individual slats, set against raw concrete and terrazzo, turn an everyday elevator wait into one of the building's defining moments.

The same ribbed detailing carries through to a custom reception desk, shaped to the space and finished to match the walls, so the whole lobby reads as one continuous design.

This is millwork that works as hard as the people who pass through it every day.
