It’s been brought to my attention that someone went to one of my customers house and told them that they work for me and tried to collect payment on a job that was completed over a month ago.

I do not know who this person is, nor do I have any employees.

Furthermore, I do not know how they got my customers information since this customer was not in any of my databases.

So if anyone shows up at your house claiming to work for me, please get their information and let me know as soon as possible! And do not give them any money!

I appreciate my customers very much and thank you!

Another day of randomness.

Starting off cleaning out a garbage disposal, replacing a shower head (filleting my thumb in the process) and a couple other small jobs. Then over to clean up a patio roof and finishing off by getting ready for some work on Monday!

Just your run of the mill, Todd’s odd jobs!

Today was a reminder of why I called my business “Todd’s Odd Jobs”

Today I started the day by hanging some shades and curtains, then made my way out to repair the roof of a chicken coop, then it was off to clean out some gutters and make a bid on another job, then finally ended my day by installing a new door sweep and repairing a faulty drawer.

It was definitely a day of randomness!

Thank you to everyone who chooses Todd’s Odd Jobs as your handyman of choice!

Biblical object lesson from your every day handyman:

If you don’t know what this is, it’s a dryer vent that runs from an interior laundry room through the roof of a house.

It’s designed to direct air flow from the dryer to the outside of your home. Over time, small bits of lint tend to get caught in the corners and as time goes on it builds up more and more causing the vent to get clogged up stopping the air flow from the dryer inside and stops it from working and drying like it’s supposed to.

So from time to time it’s good to climb (or have some one climb) on the roof and clean it out.

This reminded me of how it is with us. The air flow being Gods spirit flowing through us. Over time the cares of life and random “lint” starts clogging up the vents of our lives and if we’re not careful we allow those things to start restricting the moving of God’s spirit in our lives.
When that happens things stop working correctly. It takes longer for us to hear his voice.

As with the vent, we need to continue to clean out the lint and dirt out to allow God to move through us and allow things to work properly in us once again

As Hebrews 12:1 says, to lay aside every weight and sin that easily besets us.

Notice it doesn’t just say just “sin” but weight as well.

Just because something isn’t a sin, doesn’t mean that it won’t affect the way we live for God. Or affect the way we hear his voice.

So clean out those vents, lay aside the distractions and the sins, so that your dryer can work properly!

Here are a few pictures of a home where I repaired some squirrel damage

If you’ve noticed some squirrel damage around your home, I’d be happy to come get you a quote to get it repaired!
