Ok sorry, I hear you and I know I've been slacking on the posts so here's the current project.... I will post some before and after of all the installs to this brand new Peterbilt before I start the next project.

To all our valued customers,

With the cost of basically everything going up the time has come where we have to raise our hourly rate. We've been the same rate per hour since we've opened P-MAC Welding Services and with the amount of investment we've made in equipment over recent years we feel this is justified. Effectively immediately our rates will be at $80 an hour for any welding and fabrication with a half hour minimum. We won't be charging different rates for different metals such as aluminum, stainless, cast iron, ect. However, there will be an extra charge on the consumables used for these specialty welds which has to be determined at the time of the job as the price of these consumables fluctuate from week to week. Off site work will be determined from job to job but it will vary from $100-150 hr which will not include travel time and consumables and a one hour minimum. The new plasma/oxy fuel table will have its own rate which will be determined when I'm fully operational with it (which should be soon!) This decision wasn't an easy one to make so thank you for understanding and know we appreciate your business and continued support.

Today was the day for phase 1!!! It's hooked up and making parts with the plasma 😁... It will take a few weeks to understand all its capabilities. The next phase will be in a few weeks when I'll move on to the scribe and oxy-fuel portion of the training. It's extremely exciting to actually see its capabilities and realize that they are almost endless! Thanks to Tim Joslin of for making the trip down to get us set up and going.

The new piece of equipment is taking longer than expected so I'll let you in on the new purchase! As you see in the pictures it's a state of the art CNC Plasma and oxy burn table bought locally right in Arcade NY!!! This will help cut down in production time with precision accuracy. Delivery is expected within the next few weeks. It will take some time getting it set up and learning its capabilities but I'm shooting for it to be in full operation by April.

Starting Monday I will no longer be in my shop during the day. I have accepted a second job at Cimolai-HY in Olean as a Fabrication Supervisor. It will be business as usual here during the day as someone will be here to take care of all your fabrication and repair needs. It will be just like it was before I took P-MAC full time years ago when I was working at Dresser Rand in Olean. In fact it's the same building, different company! I'll be here during most evenings to help make sure your fabrication and repair needs are met in a timely fashion just like always. The one thing I will be stepping away from is having posted hours on Saturdays. Working two jobs during the week will be strenuous enough and I will still need time to get things done around the shop and home.
***I'd like to stress again that it will be business as usual at P-MAC Welding Services!!! I look at this as a chance to gain more experience in the fabrication world and it will also grow P-MAC as we will actually be open even more!!! ***
