We broke our “oversized job” record doing our 1st government job! The Post Office sign over on Block Island needed to be replaced, and they wanted to keep it in the style of the original. This was made from a single piece of mahogany 15 feet long by 16 inches wide. On a CNC machine that’s only 48” x 48”, this was a challenge, but we were able to pull it off by using Tool Path Tiling. This piece was actually machined as 8 separate CNC jobs - 4 on the front and 4 on the back plus planing the edges and adding a decorative ogee routed edging all around the front.
